This morning I went to get in the car and it was locked, with the key fob in it. What? I didn't know that could happen. Of course I call Dan, "Where did you put the other key fob?" He doesn't know, is no help being at work. I look all over, can't seem to see the other key in the car.
Before I call the lock smith I think who are the kids that have been in the car? Amelia and Jack. Amelia says she has no idea where the key is: that leaves Jack.
I call the school. He is brought down to the office. I say hi and ask if he knows where the key is. I can literally hear him smile on the other side of the phone, "oh ya I know. I hid it." Bingo! Turns out he hid it under the couch in the living room. "Ok thanks Jack see you after school." "Ok mom bye."
Luckily he did hide it because the other key fob was in the car. Come to find out you can lock yourself out of car with some anti-car jacking feature I knew nothing about.
