Jacob
Jacob went to a birthday party for a friend this weekend. We have a budget for friend's birthday gifts; just because we could spend a small fortune on toys. Dada and Jacob went shopping and came back with a Star Wars Lego set, it was really cool and obviously way over the budget. I mentioned this to Dada; he said Jacob had agreed to mow the lawn for free to make up the difference. I thought that was a very nice thing to do. Jacob knew his friend would like this Lego set so he was willing to work extra to get it for him.

Amelia
Amelia was done with school at the end of May. She did very well in school this year. She can write her first and last name and our phone number. She knows most of her letters, sounds and is constantly sounding out the first letter sound of each word to figure out the letter it starts with. She is very smart.
Her end of the year program was real nice. Plus Dada got to come, his first preschool program.
