Amelia

Amelia got an award from school for being responsible! Not a big surprise she is killing it at school. But of course this is a new elementary school she is killing it at! Yay  Amelia!!

Jack

Jack told me today our lifespan is only 6 minutes. I was like what? His logic was our lifespan is only 6 minutes long but it resets itself every time we breathe. Ok what?  A person can't survive without breathing for 6 minutes, thus breathing resets our lifespan for 6 minutes. I don't know where he comes up with this stuff...

Spring Break

The kids had a busy Spring Break this year. We started at Mike's cabin in Naches for Easter. The kids played video games, rode 4 wheelers and went in the hot tub. On Sunday Umma and Uppa came up for Easter dinner and also to pick them up so on Sunday the kids went home with them. There the boys worked by putting in wood. When I asked Jacob and Jack what their favorite part of staying at Umma and Uppa's was they both said making money. Logging must be in the blood if they enjoy that!

While there, both Maysen, Burton and Dane spent the night at least one night.

On Wednesday, we met Umma to pick the kids up so we could then go Wallace Falls State Park. We rented a two-room cabin from there. It is always nice to sleep in a cabin during the spring, keeps us off the wet ground and warm at night. In total we hiked over 17 miles while we there. When we weren't hiking, we were lounging around the cabin.

On the way home we stopped in Leavenworth for lunch. The kids had been there only one time before so didn't remember it too much. All of them loved it! The weather so nice. We order pretzels, bratwurst and sauerkraut for lunch and walked around a bit. Jack said he would love to visit but not live there since he would get use to the décor.

So great Spring Break, ready for the last push of school!
